Connecting LiveChat with Responsly through Zapier lets you automate workflows, streamline communication, and improve your customer support experience. With this setup, you can automatically send surveys after chats, log conversations in Responsly, and trigger custom workflows — without manual effort.
Before you begin
Make sure you have:
- A Zapier account (free or paid, depending on your needs).
- Access to a LiveChat account.
- A Responsly account with integration permissions.
Step 1: Create a Zap in Zapier
- Log in to your Zapier account.
- Click Create Zap from the dashboard.
Step 2: Set up the LiveChat trigger
- In the Trigger section, search for LiveChat.
- Choose an event to trigger the workflow, such as New Chat or New Message.
- Log into your LiveChat account when prompted and authorize the connection.
Step 3: Set up the Responsly action
In the Action section of your Zap, search for Responsly.
Select what should happen in Responsly when the trigger occurs, for example:
- Create Survey Response
- Create Record
- Log into your Responsly account and authorize the integration.
Step 4: Map your fields
Once both accounts are connected, map the fields from LiveChat to Responsly.
- Example: map the Customer Name field in LiveChat to the Name field in Responsly.
- Double-check that all required fields are correctly mapped to avoid errors.
Step 5: Test your Zap
- Run a test in Zapier.
- Zapier will simulate the workflow and confirm if the data from LiveChat is successfully sent to Responsly.
Step 6: Turn on your Zap
- Name your Zap.
- Click Turn On.
Your integration is now live — the workflow will run automatically in the background based on the trigger you set.

Troubleshooting
- Authentication issues: Check your login credentials and app permissions if accounts don’t connect.
